Today, Naif Al-Bakri, the Minister of Youth and Sports, met with Abdu Kalib, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Al Hudaydah Governorate. They addressed pressing concerns affecting youth and athletes, particularly the issue of delayed funding for the Youth and Childhood Care Fund.
During the meeting, Al-Bakri, accompanied by Dr. Munir Mani, the Ministry’s Youth Sector Undersecretary, listened to the challenges faced by local sports clubs. These challenges have hindered the implementation of numerous plans and programs due to limited resources and inadequate facilities.
Al-Bakri emphasized the urgent need to release the funds for the Youth and Childhood Care Fund. He also called for revitalizing youth and sports activities in the liberated areas of the governorate. Furthermore, he instructed the local ministry office in Al Hudaydah to expedite the completion and operation of the Youth Capacity Development Center.
