On Thursday, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, welcomed Yevgeny Kudrov, the Russian Charge d’Affaires in Yemen. During the meeting, Kudrov conveyed greetings from President Vladimir Putin. He expressed wishes for Alimi’s health and happiness, alongside hopes for security, stability, and peace for the Yemeni people. In response, President Alimi asked Kudrov to pass on his regards to President Putin, wishing for continued progress and prosperity for Russia and its people.
President Alimi praised the long-standing and distinguished bilateral relations between Yemen and the Russian Federation. He emphasized the mutual commitment to expanding cooperation and coordination across various fields. This commitment reflects both nations’ desire to enhance their partnership.
