The Meteorological and Early Warning Center announced today, Monday, that coastal areas and nearby regions will experience mostly clear to partly cloudy weather. Daytime temperatures will be relatively warm, while nighttime conditions will be mild. The center also noted a possibility of scattered rain showers over the Socotra Archipelago, accompanied by light to moderate winds.
In the mountainous regions, the forecast predicts cold to relatively cold weather during the night and early morning. Partial cloud cover may occur, with a chance of scattered rain in parts of the western highlands. Meanwhile, desert and plateau areas will remain clear and hot during the day, transitioning to relatively cool temperatures at night, with moderate winds that may occasionally intensify.
The center urged citizens, particularly the elderly and children in mountainous areas, to take necessary precautions due to the drop in temperatures.
In the marine forecast, the center expects calm sea conditions along the coasts of Al-Mahrah, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, and the Socotra Archipelago. The sea will be light to moderate along the Bab al-Mandab and western coasts, while moderate waves are anticipated in the Red Sea.
Fishermen and sea enthusiasts along the western coasts, Bab al-Mandab, and the Red Sea should remain cautious of potential sea disturbances, increased wave heights, and strong winds.
