Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, has instructed the General Authority for Environmental Protection to conduct a field study in the Ditouh Reserve located in Socotra Governorate. This investigation aims to understand the alarming phenomenon of shrimp mortality and identify its underlying causes.

Minister Al-Sharjabi emphasized the necessity of environmental monitoring and evaluation. He called for the collection of essential samples and their analysis according to scientific standards.
