ADEN, Yemen – On Wednesday, State Minister and Governor of Aden, Abdulrahman Sheikh, assessed the operations and medical services at the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in the temporary capital, Aden.
During his visit, Governor Sheikh met with Dr. Ahmed Abdulaziz, the hospital’s general director, along with several other officials. They provided an overview of the hospital’s performance across various departments. The discussions highlighted the medical and therapeutic services available to patients and the ongoing efforts to maintain high standards of healthcare.
Dr. Ahmed Abdulaziz emphasized that the hospital continues to expand its health services to meet the needs of patients from Aden and neighboring provinces. This commitment ensures that residents receive quality care without the need to travel abroad for treatment.
The meeting also addressed the critical role of the hospital’s cardiac center. This facility offers specialized diagnostic and therapeutic services, including catheterization procedures and heart surgeries. These services significantly alleviate patient suffering and reduce the necessity for overseas medical treatment.
Governor Sheikh praised the dedication and hard work of the medical and administrative staff at the hospital. He expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which has played a vital role in enhancing the healthcare sector and improving medical services for citizens.
