Sheikh Othman Majali, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, visited the Fourth Emergency Brigade today in the districts of Kattaf and Al-Buqaa in Saada Governorate, along with the brigade’s front lines.
Upon his arrival, Sheikh Majali received a warm welcome from Major General Raddad Al-Hashimi, the brigade commander, along with several leaders, officers, and soldiers who expressed their happiness at the visit.
During the visit, Sheikh Majali conveyed the greetings of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, and the members of the council to all leaders, officers, and soldiers stationed in various locations, including mountain peaks and plains. He praised the efforts and sacrifices of these forces in defending the homeland and fulfilling their national duty during this challenging phase that requires steadfastness and strength.
Sheikh Majali expressed gratitude for the brotherly support extended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Yemen, highlighting their efforts to restore security, stability, and development. He stated, “The Yemenis will not forget the historical stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both government and people, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, and Minister of Defense Khalid bin Salman. This stance reflects the depth of our brotherly relationship.” He emphasized that Saudi Arabia remains the primary and essential supporter of legitimacy and the Yemeni people across various economic, service, and developmental fields.
In contrast, Majali criticized Iran’s actions in Yemen, stating that it smuggles weapons, sends experts, missiles, explosives, and tools of death and destruction. He noted that Iran threatens Yemen’s security and stability, as well as the security of the region and international navigation in the Red Sea. “They are the enemy and the adversary, and they are behind all the bloodshed in Yemen and the region,” he asserted.
During the visit, Majali listened to explanations from leaders and personnel about their missions in defense of the homeland and faith, the status of the forces, their readiness, deployment, and their combat tasks against the Houthi terrorist militias. He commended the level of readiness and morale among the leaders, officers, and soldiers, emphasizing that the true briefing came from the brigade leaders in the trenches, reflecting a spirit filled with confidence in victory. He stressed the importance of unity during this exceptional circumstance.
Majali remarked, “Morale rises when I see the members of the armed forces with such high spirits. The homeland is safe with these capable and towering figures.” He added that Yemen is undergoing a sensitive phase that requires everyone to remain steadfast and strong in the field, asserting that the sacrifices of the heroes represent a stronghold to overcome current challenges.
In turn, Major General Raddad Al-Hashimi expressed his deep appreciation, along with his fellow leaders, officers, and soldiers, for Sheikh Othman Majali’s visit to his sons and brothers in the region and the Fourth Emergency Brigade’s fronts. He noted that this visit reflects the political and military leadership’s concern for the conditions of the forces stationed at the front lines, providing direct insight into their readiness, tasks, and needs. He emphasized the importance of standing alongside the fighters in their positions, which boosts their morale and strengthens direct communication between the leadership and the forces stationed at the front lines.
