The Minister of Local Administration discusses plans and programs for cleanliness and improvement funds.

Today, Minister of Local Administration Hussein Al-Aghbari met with the directors of sanitation and improvement funds from the governorates of Hadhramaut, Lahij, Abyan, and Al-Dhale. The meeting focused on the current conditions and needs of these funds, as well as work plans and strategies for the year 2025.

Addressing Key Issues in Sanitation

During the meeting, participants discussed several critical issues and field challenges facing sanitation funds in the liberated governorates. They explored ways to enhance technical and logistical support to improve performance and achieve environmental sustainability.

Infrastructure and Community Awareness

The discussions also highlighted the importance of improving the infrastructure of sanitation systems. Additionally, the need to raise community awareness about the significance of maintaining public cleanliness was emphasized. Plans for developing future projects were also on the agenda.

Commitment to Revenue Growth and Waste Management

Minister Al-Aghbari stressed the necessity of collaborative efforts to increase the funds’ revenues and develop their resources. He urged adherence to the allocation of funds for specific projects and emphasized the importance of timely waste removal from cities.
