Minister of Local Administration Discusses Development Support with DAL Global

In a significant meeting held today in the temporary capital of Aden, Minister of Local Administration Hussein Al-Aghbari engaged with the governance and economic advisor from DAL Global. The discussions focused on strategies to bolster developmental and economic programs within Yemen.

Economic Needs and Donor Support

During the meeting, Minister Al-Aghbari highlighted Yemen’s pressing economic needs and the critical role that international donors play in addressing these challenges. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between international organizations and the legitimate government to implement effective developmental and economic projects. Given the current situation in Yemen, such partnerships are vital for meeting the country’s urgent requirements.

Commitment to Economic Governance

The DAL Global advisor reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting Yemen in enhancing public financial management and developing the private sector. He noted the organization’s efforts to improve funding avenues for small and medium-sized enterprises through an economic governance program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

This collaboration aims to strengthen Yemen’s economic infrastructure and foster sustainable growth, ultimately benefiting the local population and stabilizing the economy.

The dialogue between Minister Al-Aghbari and DAL Global reflects a proactive approach to addressing Yemen’s economic challenges. By uniting efforts with international organizations, the Yemeni government seeks to implement impactful developmental initiatives that can lead to long-term economic recovery and growth.
