In a solemn visit today, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Dhaeri and Hadhramaut Governor Mabkhout bin Madi expressed their condolences to the Coalition Forces supporting legitimacy in Sayoun, Hadhramaut. This visit followed the tragic death of an officer and a non-commissioned officer, along with the injury of another officer from the coalition, due to a cowardly and treacherous attack last Friday.
During the visit, Minister Al-Dhaeri, accompanied by various Hadhramaut officials, including leaders from the first and second military zones, the director of security in the Wadi Hadhramaut, and the commander of the Al-Ghaydah axis, made a strong commitment. He vowed to pursue the perpetrators of this heinous act and ensure they face justice alongside anyone else found complicit in this crime.
Al-Dhaeri praised the steadfast support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Yemen, highlighting the significant sacrifices made in the shared Arab struggle. He stated that the pure bloodshed in defense of national security would not undermine the strategic brotherly relations between the two armies and their peoples, despite the recent attack.
In a related development, Minister Al-Dhaeri convened a meeting with the leadership of the first military zone and the committee assigned to investigate the treacherous assault targeting coalition officers. He received a detailed briefing from the committee regarding the progress of the investigation and the collaborative efforts with joint forces and security agencies.
Emphasizing the need for swift action, Al-Dhaeri urged all involved parties to intensify their efforts to apprehend the assailant and uncover the motives behind this horrific crime. He insisted on delivering the perpetrator to justice to ensure they face appropriate consequences.
This incident underscores the ongoing challenges faced by coalition forces in the region and highlights the commitment of Yemeni leadership to uphold justice and security.
