In contrast, the main market index saw an increase of 51.35 points, or 0.72%, closing at 7,224.29 points. This rise occurred alongside the trading of 399.2 million shares across 19,570 transactions, valued at 45.7 million Kuwaiti Dinars, roughly 149.7 million US Dollars.
Conversely, the first market index fell by 49.83 points, or 0.55%, ending at 9,083.47 points. This decline resulted from the trading of 179.9 million shares through 11,126 transactions, with a total value of 62.7 million Kuwaiti Dinars, about 205.3 million US Dollars.
