They were joined by teams from two contracted companies responsible for conducting technical studies for the project and salvaging sunken vessels from the port basin. The discussions focused on several key issues related to the rehabilitation of the fishing port and the arrangements for restoring the 530-meter-long dock designated for fishing vessels of various sizes.
Progress Update on Rehabilitation Efforts
During the meeting, Minister Al-Saqtri received updates from the UNDP team and the two companies regarding the progress made in all phases of the construction and technical studies. On-Site Inspection of Ongoing Operations
Following the meeting, Minister Al-Saqtri, accompanied by the UNDP team and the consulting company, conducted a site visit to the fishing port.
