Winds will range from moderate to active along the eastern, southern, and western coasts, with speeds between 20 to 30 knots, stirring up dust and sand.

Mountainous Areas Expect Rain

In its daily weather bulletin, which the Yemen News Agency (Saba) received, the center predicts that mountainous regions will experience partly to mostly cloudy conditions. Scattered rain, occasionally accompanied by thunder, may occur in parts of the western and southwestern slopes. This weather pattern is expected to extend eastward, affecting areas in the provinces of Al-Dhale, Lahij, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout. Meanwhile, desert and plateau areas will likely see clear to partly cloudy skies, with a chance of scattered rain in parts of the deserts of Shabwa, Hadramout, and Marib. Winds in these regions will also be moderate to active, stirring up dust and sand.

Marine Conditions and Warnings

In its daily marine bulletin, the Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center predicts that the sea conditions along the coasts of Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan, and Aden will be calm. The coasts of Al-Mahra, Bab al-Mandab, and the western shores will experience light to moderate waves. The sea around the Socotra Archipelago will have moderate waves, while the waters in the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden will be moderate. However, the Red Sea will experience rough conditions. The center warns fishermen and sea-goers near Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea about potential disturbances and active winds.

The sea state around the Socotra Archipelago is expected to be moderate, while the waters in the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden will be moderately wavy, and the Red Sea will be rough. The center has also warned fishermen and sea-goers around Bab al-Mandab and the Red Sea about the rough sea conditions and active winds.
