During a meeting today with Mark Schumacher, the GIZ Country Director for Yemen, and his accompanying delegation, Lamlas discussed the local government’s ongoing efforts to improve conditions in the city. Despite facing significant challenges, he expressed the local authority’s support for GIZ’s decision to relocate its headquarters to Aden. Lamlas assured the delegation of full cooperation and readiness to provide necessary facilities for their operations.

He mentioned the implementation of an electronic network system across all districts and the activation of partnerships with the private sector to benefit the city.
