Strengthening Security Efforts
Today, Governor Awdh Mohammed bin Al-Wazir of Shabwa met with a military committee from the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Otaibi. The meeting focused on enhancing coordination between the two sides to bolster security and stability in the province.
Key Attendees and Their Roles
The meeting also included the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abdrabuh Hashlah, along with leaders from various military and security units. Governor bin Al-Wazir expressed gratitude for the Coalition’s ongoing support for Shabwa. He emphasized the importance of this meeting in promoting institutional work and integrating roles between local authorities and the Ministry of Defense.
Commitment to Stability
Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Otaibi praised the current state of security and stability in Shabwa. He acknowledged the leadership’s efforts in safeguarding public and private interests. Al-Otaibi outlined the committee’s mission to assist local leadership in reorganizing military and security units. This initiative aligns with directives from President Rashad Al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the Coalition leadership.
