Today, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Dhaeri conducted a field visit to Meyun Island and the Bab al-Mandab area in Taiz Governorate. Accompanied by key military officials, the visit aimed to assess the current situation of the armed forces stationed on the island and to review several vital projects.

During the tour, Minister Al-Dhaeri was joined by several high-ranking officials, including:

  • Lieutenant General Abdulaziz Al-Faqih, Chief of Logistics Support Authority
  • Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Shaari, Commander of Military Police
  • Lieutenant General Mohsen Marsa, Commander of Al-Ghaydah Axis
  • Brigadier General Nasr Shaif, Staff Officer of the Fourth Military Region
  • Brigadier General Nasser Abdulrab, Director of Intelligence
  • Brigadier General Khadr Mazmber, Director of Personnel Affairs
  • Brigadier General Mahmoud Sayel, Commander of the Third Hazm Brigade

The group toured various parts of the island, gaining insights into the conditions of the stationed forces and the ongoing projects.
