The official spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, confirmed that the Houthi militia continues its unlawful assaults on national resources and infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement released by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Major General Al-Maliki highlighted the persistent nature of these attacks, which reflect the extremist ideology of the Houthi militia. He reported that on Wednesday, the militia targeted the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Jazan with multiple ballistic missiles and drones.
Major General Al-Maliki emphasized that the Coalition’s Joint Forces Command will respond responsibly to these assaults. Their primary goal remains the protection of Saudi sovereignty and national resources, as well as safeguarding civilians and civilian infrastructure from these malicious attacks. He reiterated that their actions align with the principle of self-defense under international law, specifically Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, and comply with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
