Strengthening the National Currency

During the call, President Alimi received a briefing from Prime Minister bin Mubarak on the measures taken to bolster the national currency. The discussion highlighted efforts to reduce frequent electricity outages and ensure a steady supply of fuel from the Hadramout and Marib governorates to operate government power stations.

Addressing Humanitarian Challenges

President Alimi emphasized the approved policies designed to alleviate the humanitarian suffering exacerbated by attacks from Iranian-backed Houthi militias on oil facilities and international shipping routes. He underscored the importance of intensifying efforts to implement the decisions and recommendations of the Presidential Leadership Council, particularly those related to enhancing the state’s access to resources across all governorates.

Appreciation for Saudi Support

The President expressed his profound gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their generous response to the needs of the Yemeni people. In summary, President Alimi’s discussions with Prime Minister bin Mubarak reflect a proactive approach to tackling economic challenges and improving public services in Yemen. The collaboration with Saudi Arabia further emphasizes international support for Yemen during this critical period.
