President Rashad Alimi Receives Draft Regulations for Presidential Leadership Council

On Thursday, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, received a draft of the regulations governing the council’s operations. The legal team, led by Judge Hamoud Al-Hattar, presented the draft, which outlines the framework for the council, the Consultation and Reconciliation Authority, and both the legal and economic teams. This submission aligns with Article Three of the Power Transfer Declaration.

Article Three of the Power Transfer Declaration mandates the formation of a legal team composed of qualified national experts. Their task is to draft regulations that will guide the operations of the Presidential Leadership Council and the associated bodies. Once completed, this draft will be submitted to the President for approval and subsequent issuance as law.
