President Offers Condolences Following Tragic Death of National Resistance Leader

President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the head of the Presidential Leadership Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, has expressed his condolences to the family of Brigadier General Yahya Wahesh, the leader of the First National Resistance Brigade. General Wahesh tragically lost his life due to a bomb explosion targeting his convoy, which also resulted in the deaths and injuries of several of his companions.

A Message of Sympathy

In his message, President Alimi, along with fellow members of the Council and the government, extended heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the martyr’s family, loved ones, and comrades in the National Resistance and joint forces. He prayed for the Almighty to grant General Wahesh eternal peace and to provide swift healing for the injured.

President Alimi praised the patriotic and heroic qualities of General Wahesh, emphasizing that he was among the first to resist the Houthi terrorist militias and defend the republican system across various fronts. His commitment to the cause of national resistance has left a lasting impact.

This committee will include representatives from the Ministry of Interior, the State Security Agency, and the National Resistance. President Alimi reaffirmed that such criminal acts will not deter the resolve of the armed forces and security in their critical battle against the Iranian-backed Imamite project and affiliated terrorist organizations.
