The Arab Parliament: The escalation of Israeli atrocities in Gaza is a direct result of international silence.

Arab Parliament Condemns Israeli Aggression in Gaza

The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the recent escalation of violence by Israeli forces in northern Gaza, particularly highlighting the devastating massacre in Beit Lahiya. This attack resulted in the deaths of over 85 Palestinians and injured many others when an entire residential area was struck within a single hour. The Arab Parliament emphasized that such atrocities occur due to the international community’s silence and the lack of accountability for the perpetrators, which emboldens Israeli forces to commit further acts of violence against an unarmed population.

Humanitarian Crisis and Violations of International Law

The Arab Parliament raised serious concerns regarding the Israeli occupation’s tactics, which include starving and terrorizing civilians. The deliberate targeting of shelters, hospitals, and the destruction of tents, along with attacks on children and non-combatants, aims to force Palestinians to flee their homeland. This constitutes a dangerous escalation and amounts to genocide against the Palestinian people, violating international law and humanitarian principles. The actions of the Israeli forces represent a deep stain on human conscience.

Call for International Action and Accountability

In light of these grave violations, the Arab Parliament urged the international community, including the United Nations Security Council and influential nations, to exert pressure on Israel to halt its violent escalation and immediately cease all aggression in Gaza, particularly in the northern regions. They called for accountability for Israeli war criminals and an end to the culture of impunity that has allowed such violations to persist.

Demand for Protection and Justice for Palestinians

Furthermore, the Arab Parliament appealed to the global community to provide international protection for Palestinian civilians in Gaza. They stressed the need to safeguard innocent lives, halt ethnic cleansing, and enforce international law to ensure justice for the Palestinian people. The Parliament also advocated for a two-state solution as a pathway to achieving lasting peace in the region.

This urgent call to action reflects the Arab Parliament’s commitment to addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis and advocating for the rights of the Palestinian people.
