The Assistant Governor of Hadhramaut for the Valley and Desert Districts, Engineer Hisham Al-Saidi, reviewed the project to establish a unified window for registering small and medium enterprises. This initiative aims to streamline the issuance and renewal of licenses while integrating with the administrative information system.
This project falls under the program “Resilient Economies and Livelihoods for Empowerment,” funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation through the United Nations Development Programme. The Coalition for Good Humanitarian Relief implements the initiative.
During the meeting, Project Officer Mohammed Al-Tamimi provided an overview of how the unified window will operate. He explained the necessary technical and administrative arrangements to establish the window, allowing project owners to complete their official transactions through a single entity.
Al-Saidi emphasized the project’s significance in enhancing the business environment and supporting the growth of small and medium enterprises. He stressed the need for coordination with relevant authorities to ensure successful implementation and to achieve the project’s objectives in serving the business sector and promoting economic development in Hadhramaut.
