High-Level Attendance and Execution

In a significant display of military readiness, Major General Abdul Aziz al-Majidi, the Chief of Staff of the Taiz Axis, witnessed a live ammunition tactical parade by the 17th Infantry Brigade today. The event, marked by precision and strategic execution, was attended by notable military figures including the Commander of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Mahfdi, the Deputy Chief of Operations for the Axis, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Najjar, Brigadier General Shafiq Al-Kahili, and the Chief of Staff of the 17th Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Amin Jaish.

Tactical Proficiency and Training

The 17th Infantry Brigade personnel carried out the tactical parade, which took the form of a raid operation by an infantry platoon to attack a specific target according to the tactical concept. This exercise demonstrated the graduates’ skills in assault execution, engineering security, and coordination, showcasing the high level of training achieved by the brigade members. Major General al-Majidi praised the combat skills displayed by the fighters during the exercise, emphasizing the brigade’s capability to overcome challenges and defeat militias through their enhanced training and skills.

Combat Training and Operational Readiness

Brigadier General Abdul Malik Al-Ahdal, Commander of the 17th Infantry Brigade, highlighted the implementation of various training courses within the brigade, including the second skills course and the sixth engineering course. These courses are part of this year’s combat, operational, and morale training plan aimed at boosting the combat efficiency of the brigade’s members to face upcoming challenges.

The graduates of these courses presented a field display of special maneuvers, reflecting the combat skills they have acquired. This demonstration of proficiency is a testament to the brigade’s commitment to maintaining high standards of readiness and efficiency.
