Yemen's Youth and Sports Minister Reviews Al-Qatn Club's Preparations for the Arab Handball Championship

Ministerial Support for National Teams

On Tuesday, Naif Al-Bakri, Yemen’s Minister of Youth and Sports, evaluated the preparations of the Al-Qatn Youth Club’s handball team from Wadi Hadramout for their upcoming participation in the 29th Arab Handball Championship. This significant event is set to take place in Kuwait mid-this month. During a meeting attended by the club’s representatives and the Ministry’s Deputy, Dr. Azzam Khalifa, Minister Al-Bakri reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting clubs across all provinces. He emphasized the importance of funding external participations and activities, insisting on the necessity of depositing all funds of the Youth Care Fund into the Central Bank in Aden.

Minister Al-Bakri lauded Al-Qatn Youth Club for its outstanding sports and cultural presence, highlighting its role as a positive representation of Hadramout’s youth and athletes.
