On Tuesday evening, the National Army’s defense units in the Fifth Military Region achieved a significant victory by shooting down a Houthi drone as it traversed the Haradh district in northern Hajjah Governorate. This operation underscores the Army’s commitment to protecting national forces from aerial threats posed by Houthi militants.
The media center of the Fifth Military Region reported that the Third Border Guard Brigade successfully intercepted a “Hexacopter” drone. This operation was executed on the southern front of Haradh, following meticulous surveillance and comprehensive analysis of the drone’s flight patterns in the area.
Equipped with explosive projectiles, the drone indicated a clear intent from the Houthi militia to target National Army positions. However, the timely intervention of the forces neutralized this threat, demonstrating the military’s preparedness and capability to address aerial dangers effectively.
