Military Losses Acknowledged
Major General Tariq Saleh, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, expressed his condolences for the brave soldiers who lost their lives in a recent attack by Houthi militia. This assault targeted military camps and units responsible for securing liberated areas, international roads, and combating Houthi smuggling networks.
Direct Communication with Military Leaders
On Thursday evening, General Saleh made two phone calls to key military leaders: Brigadier General Yasser Al-Mabri, commander of the First Emergency Division, and Brigadier General Ammar Tamash, commander of the Third Emergency Division. During these conversations, he conveyed his sympathies to the leadership of both divisions, the families of the fallen soldiers, and all members of the armed forces.
Recognition of Valor and Commitment
General Saleh praised the high fighting spirit and effective management of the situation displayed by the soldiers. He emphasized their steadfastness in the face of adversity, stating that such heinous acts will not deter the armed forces from fulfilling their national duty. He reaffirmed their commitment to restoring the state and reclaiming the capital, Sana’a.
The recent attack underscores the ongoing challenges faced by the Yemeni military. However, the leadership remains resolute in its mission to protect the nation and its people.
