Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli scored a remarkable hat-trick, leading Al-Hilal to a resounding victory against Al-Taawoun with a score of six goals to none. This match took place during the seventh round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League on Saturday.
Al-Hilal entered the match following a defeat against Neom in the previous round. However, the team rebounded strongly. English striker Ollie Watkins opened the scoring just nine minutes into the game. Martinelli then showcased his talent by netting three goals in the 18th, 43rd, and 50th minutes, marking one of his standout performances since joining the Saudi league.
Watkins returned to the scoresheet, adding the fifth goal in the 53rd minute. Substitute Sultan Mandash capped off the scoring with the sixth goal in the 75th minute, confirming Al-Hilal’s complete dominance throughout the match.
With this victory, Al-Hilal increased its points tally to 18, securing the top position in the league standings. In contrast, Al-Taawoun remained near the bottom, suffering its fourth defeat alongside three draws.
