Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahrah Governorate – Today, the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Salem Nimer, met with the Director of the Good Coalition for Relief and Humanitarian Aid in the governorate, Ayman Mzyoun. They discussed the arrangements and coordination with relevant offices to implement the rehabilitation and restoration project for the fish market in Al-Ghaydah. This initiative, funded by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, aims to enhance local infrastructure.
During the meeting, which also included Engineer Awad Qweizan, the Deputy for Technical Affairs, and Engineer Khalid Al-Imad, the Director of the Public Works and Roads Office, Secretary-General Nimer emphasized the ongoing support from the Saudi Arabian government. He highlighted that this assistance plays a crucial role in various humanitarian and developmental fields within Al-Mahrah.
Nimer stated that projects like the fish market rehabilitation significantly contribute to improving the quality of public services for citizens. He noted that addressing previous challenges remains a priority, ensuring that the community benefits from enhanced facilities.
This initiative reflects a commitment to fostering development and improving living conditions in the region. The collaboration between local authorities and international organizations underscores the importance of coordinated efforts in humanitarian work.
