President Al-Alimi’s Significant Visit to Hadhramaut Police College

Recently, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council and supreme commander of the armed forces, made an important visit to the Police College in Hadhramaut Governorate. Accompanying him were council members Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi and Sheikh Osman Majali.

Warm Reception at the College

Upon their arrival, they received a warm welcome from the Governor of Hadhramaut and head of the province’s Security Committee, Mabkhout Mubarak Bin Madi. In addition, the reception included the commander of the Second Military Zone, Major General Taleb Barjas, the Director General of Police in the Hadhramaut coastal region, Brigadier Mutei Al-Menhali, and the Director of the Police College, Brigadier Dr. Saleh Al-Tamimi.

Cadets’ Performance and College Achievements

During the visit, the President and council members, along with other officials, witnessed a symbolic display by the college’s cadets. Notably, the college hosts 316 students specializing in police science, law, and training. This display highlighted their high professional capabilities and discipline, as well as their readiness to defend the nation’s security and stability.

President’s Address to the Cadets

In his address, President Al-Alimi praised the college’s high level of training and success. Furthermore, he commended the leadership and instructors for driving development and achieving excellence in both training and academic attainment.

Acknowledgment of Past and Present Leadership

The President acknowledged the efforts of previous political leaders who established the security academy. He also praised the former local authority led by General Faraj Al-Bahsani for his significant contributions. Moreover, he highlighted the current local authority’s role in advancing the college’s development.

Support from the Saudi-Led Coalition

President Al-Alimi emphasized the support received from the Saudi-led coalition, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He praised their honorable stance alongside the Yemeni people, its political leadership, and the nation’s security and stability.

Commitment to Support

The President reaffirmed the council and government’s commitment to supporting the Police College in Hadhramaut. This support includes facilitating student and faculty transportation and sponsoring college activities and programs.

Welcoming Speech by the College Director

Brigadier General Saleh Al-Tamimi, the Police College Director, delivered a welcoming speech to the President and council members. He highlighted the college’s importance in rebuilding state institutions and expressed gratitude to both past and present state leadership and the coalition for their support.

Attendees of the Security Display

The security display was attended by the Director of the Supreme Commander’s Office, Major General Ahmed Al-Akili, the Secretary-General of the local council in Hadhramaut, Saleh Al-Amri, deputy governors, and several other officials and military and security leaders.
