Kuwait will host the 165th Ministerial Meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Monday, under the leadership of Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya. This meeting aims to address strategic issues and discuss regional and international developments.
According to GCC Secretary-General Jassem Al-Budaiwi, the meeting will be followed by the second joint ministerial meeting between the GCC and Japan. Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi will lead this session, which focuses on enhancing dialogue and strategic partnerships between the two sides.
The ministerial council will review reports on the implementation of decisions made during the 45th Gulf Summit held in Kuwait. Additionally, the council will examine memoranda and reports from various ministerial and technical committees. Topics will include international relations, economic blocs, and the latest developments in the region.
This meeting represents a significant opportunity for GCC member states to collaborate on pressing issues and strengthen their collective voice on the global stage.
