Kuwait has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack targeting the East-West pipeline in the Riyadh and Medina regions. The assault involved drones originating from Iraqi territory and resulted in human injuries and material damage, according to the current report.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that this attack represents a serious escalation and a blatant violation of international law and humanitarian law. It also poses a threat to energy supply security and regional stability.
The ministry emphasized the need for the Iraqi government to take necessary measures to ensure that its territory does not serve as a launchpad for such attacks. It urged Iraq to work on stopping these assaults and preventing their recurrence.
Kuwait reaffirmed its complete solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, asserting its support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty and maintain its security, stability, and interests.
