On Monday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center initiated the second phase of its emergency food intervention project in Shabwa Governorate. This effort, coordinated with local authorities, will be executed by the Good Coalition for Relief.
The project aims to distribute 11,160 food baskets, benefiting approximately 66,000 individuals, including displaced persons and the most vulnerable groups in several districts of the governorate. This initiative seeks to enhance food security and alleviate the challenging living conditions faced by many families.
Ahmad Al-Daghari, the Deputy Governor of Shabwa, praised the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center for its unwavering support and humanitarian efforts in the region. He emphasized the project’s significance in addressing the needs of displaced individuals and the most vulnerable populations, especially amid the current economic challenges.
Al-Daghari reaffirmed the local authority’s commitment to facilitating the implementation of humanitarian projects. He highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships with relief organizations to ensure that aid reaches those in need across various districts of the governorate.
This initiative marks a significant step toward improving the living conditions of many families in Shabwa, showcasing the ongoing efforts to provide essential support in times of crisis.
