The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has inked a joint executive program with a civil society organization for the rehabilitation of the Higher Institute of Health Sciences building in Lahij Governorate.
The program includes furnishing the institute with suitable office and medical furniture, as well as equipping it with the necessary medical and educational supplies and equipment in the departments of dentistry, midwifery, nursing, and pharmacy. The objective is to restore the institute’s leading role, which it has been known for over the years, in training health professionals and supplying hospitals with qualified health staff.
This agreement is part of a series of humanitarian and relief projects carried out by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. The initiative aims to address the shortage in health institutions and centers in Yemen by equipping them with all the essential medical materials and supplies needed to serve patients and the injured.
