Governor of Hadhramaut Commends Customs Procedures at Al-Wadiah Land Port

Hadhramaut Governor, Mabkhout bin Madi, praised the legal customs procedures implemented at Al-Wadiah Land Port in the Al-Abr district. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the law and preventing the collection of any unauthorized fees.

Meeting Highlights Customs Operations

During a meeting today in Mukalla, Governor bin Madi, accompanied by the province’s Undersecretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Basareh, listened to a detailed briefing from Abdul Haq Lahsan, the Director General of Al-Wadiah Customs. The discussion focused on the services provided to travelers and the overall customs operations at the port.

Overview of Passenger Services

Governor bin Madi assessed the current conditions at the port, examining the process for travelers and the arrangements for pilgrims. He acknowledged the collaborative efforts between the port management and various service, military, and security facilities to ensure the smooth transit of passengers. The governor also took note of the legal customs procedures in place.
