During the Eid al-Adha holiday, the land and air ports in the liberated provinces experienced a significant surge in traveler activity. Official statistics from the Operations and Monitoring Room at the Customs Authority reveal that a total of 46,980 travelers arrived and departed through these ports. Additionally, various quantities of goods flowed through these channels.
The statistics indicate that the ports witnessed intensive activity in both travel and commercial shipping throughout the holiday period. Relevant authorities facilitated the travel process, ensuring smooth transactions and providing necessary customs and humanitarian services to all travelers.
The land ports at Al-Wadiah in Hadramout and Shahn and Sarfait in Al-Mahra recorded the arrival and departure of 12,345 vehicles and trucks. This included 7,744 incoming vehicles and 4,601 outgoing vehicles. Authorities managed these operations efficiently, ensuring that all transactions were completed smoothly.
The surge in traveler movement and commercial activity during Eid al-Adha highlights the resilience and operational capacity of the ports in the liberated provinces. As authorities continue to streamline processes, the region shows promise for future growth in both travel and trade.
