Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi Baouzir, member of the Leadership Council, conducts a phone call with Ambassador Ahmed Ali Saleh.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi Bawazir, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, conducted a telephone call today with Ambassador Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh, during which he congratulated him on the occasion of the removal of his name and that of the late leader Ali Abdullah Saleh, may God have mercy on him, from the UN sanctions list.

During the call, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi expressed his happiness with this announcement, which came as a result of the sincere efforts of the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council, supported by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. He called for national unity and concerted efforts to end the Houthi coup.

For his part, Ambassador Ahmed Ali Abdullah Saleh expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council for their strenuous efforts over the past period. He valued their role in getting his and his father’s names removed from the UN sanctions list.
