The Armed Forces announced the execution of 2,200 precise targeting operations. These operations involved the use of warplanes, drones, artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units as part of the ongoing “Dawn of Yemen” campaign.
Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, provided a statement indicating that preliminary field estimates suggest the neutralization of approximately 1,200 elements. Additionally, the operations resulted in the destruction and damage of over 440 military vehicles and equipment across various operational fronts.
Al-Nazili highlighted that the Armed Forces continued to enhance their offensive operations on both the eastern and southern fronts. They achieved significant ground advancements supported by intense firepower. The targeting efforts focused on dismantling the enemy’s defense systems by striking command and control centers, fortifications, fire sources, observation and reconnaissance points, troop assembly areas, reserves, ammunition depots, supply transport, and high-value military objectives deep within enemy territory.
In Taiz, concentrated strikes obliterated militia convoys and reinforcements, disrupting their mobilization efforts and hindering their ability to support positions and reorganize their forces.
Meanwhile, military engineering units on the western front continued to clear recovered areas of mines and explosive devices planted by the militia. They worked to secure roads and pathways to protect civilians and facilitate their return.
The Armed Forces’ spokesperson affirmed that the targeting operations were conducted against legitimate military objectives. These actions adhered to the rules of international humanitarian law, including principles of distinction, proportionality, and necessary precautions.
