Hadhramaut, Yemen – Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut, Salem Al-Khanbashi, recently met with the National Commission for Investigation into Allegations of Human Rights Violations. This meeting focused on the commission’s field investigations regarding the current human rights situation in Hadhramaut.
During the meeting, Al-Khanbashi listened to a comprehensive briefing from the commission’s Deputy Chairman, Judge Hussein Al-Mashdali. The discussion highlighted the commission’s ongoing efforts, including the examination of illegal detention facilities in Hadhramaut. The commission also addressed reports and complaints related to unlawful detentions.
The conversation extended to the commission’s monitoring of recent human rights developments linked to security and military issues in the region.
