Meeting Highlights International Cooperation for Peace in Yemen

On Thursday, Salim Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut, engaged in a significant meeting with Sarah Al-Bukhari, the Director of the Yemen Program at the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue, alongside Dr. Mohammed Al-Qadi, the center’s political advisor. This meeting aimed to strengthen communication with international mediation centers and enhance their role in supporting peace and stability efforts in Yemen.

Overview of the Center’s Work

During the meeting, Al-Khanbashi reviewed the operations of the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue and its international mediation and peacebuilding initiatives. He received a comprehensive briefing on the center’s activities, which is based in Geneva. Established in 1999, the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue is recognized as a leading international institution focused on mediation and private diplomacy, operating under principles of neutrality, transparency, and independence.

Acknowledging Mediation Efforts and Commitment to Collaboration

Al-Khanbashi expressed his deep appreciation for the mediation efforts made by various institutions and centers. He commended the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue for its significant role in supporting peace initiatives and fostering constructive dialogue.
