HADRAMOUT, Yemen – During a recent meeting, Salah Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramout, highlighted the critical need to enhance government medical facilities by providing qualified medical personnel. He stated that this initiative serves as a fundamental pillar for improving healthcare services for citizens.
Al-Khanbashi praised the accomplishments of the Higher Medical Council for Medical and Health Specialties during its fourth regular meeting for 2026. The meeting, attended by Council President Dr. Omar Zain Al-Saqaf and Vice President Professor Amir Balafair, focused on the council’s achievements in training and certifying medical professionals. The governor emphasized the importance of expanding medical specialty programs across various provinces to meet the actual needs of the healthcare sector.
