On Sunday, a significant agreement was signed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, aimed at enhancing education in Yemen. The partnership involves King Saud University, represented by the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies, the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, the Hayel Saeed Anam Group, and the Human Development Program. This collaboration will focus on training 200 teachers in the governorates of Aden, Hadramaut, and Taiz.
The signing ceremony featured prominent attendees, including Minister of Education Tarek Al-Akbari and Mohammed Al-Jaber, the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen. The agreement outlines funding from both the Saudi Program and the Hayel Saeed Anam Group. King Abdullah Institute and the Human Development Program will implement the project.
This one-year initiative aims to equip 200 teachers with essential competencies, skills, and specialized knowledge. Participants will receive international professional teaching certificates, enhancing their professional capabilities and effectiveness in their roles. The project seeks to foster advanced professional growth among educators.
