President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, expressed profound gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He acknowledged the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for depositing a new tranche of support aimed at the state budget. This action reaffirms Saudi Arabia’s steadfast position alongside Yemen and its people, as well as its support for Yemeni institutions and the national economy.
In a post on the platform X, President Alimi stated, “This new announcement decisively confirms what was mentioned in the recent royal speech regarding the Kingdom’s commitment to comprehensive support for the Yemeni government.” He emphasized the importance of restoring the government’s authority over all its territories and addressing the aggressions from the Houthi terrorist militias.
Earlier today, the Saudi Ambassador and supervisor of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen, Mohammed Al Jaber, announced the deposit of a new financial support grant for the Yemeni government. This grant exceeds 224 million Saudi Riyals, which will enhance the regularity of government financial flows, support fiscal policy efficiency, and contribute to strengthening the purchasing power of the Yemeni citizen.
Al Jaber clarified that this support aligns with the wise leadership’s directives in Saudi Arabia. It represents a continuation of the Kingdom’s ongoing assistance to the Yemeni people and government, especially in light of the current terrorist aggressions by the Houthi militia against the resources, properties, and interests of the Yemeni people.
