The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology has announced the resumption of operations at Al-Riyan International Airport in Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate. Flights will begin again on Sunday morning.
This decision follows the completion of technical work aimed at rehabilitating several airport facilities. These improvements ensure operational readiness and enhance the safety and services provided to travelers and airlines.
Captain Saleh Bin Naheed, the head of the authority, expressed gratitude to the political leadership and government. He specifically thanked Dr. Salem Al-Khanbashi, the Governor of Hadhramaut and a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with the Ministry of Transport and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Their collective efforts played a crucial role in the airport’s reopening and the return of regular flight operations.
