A Lebanese official has announced that the eighth round of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel will take place in Rome in October, following a postponement from September.
The official informed Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the United States officially notified Lebanon of the new meeting date as part of the ongoing negotiation process that began in April.
The source also mentioned an anticipated meeting this week at the U.S. Department of State. This meeting will involve the ambassadors of Lebanon and Israel to the United States, focusing on developments in Lebanon and the implementation of the framework agreement reached in June.
