The Statistical Training Center at the Central Statistical Organization in Aden has successfully concluded a specialized training course on “Population Forecasting.” This initiative received support from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and aims to enhance the skills of national personnel in demographic and social statistics.
The training course welcomed 14 participants, who engaged in a comprehensive five-day program. The curriculum included both theoretical lectures and practical applications covering essential topics such as:
This training aligns with the Central Statistical Organization’s preparations to implement priority national statistical projects, including the Household Budget Survey. Such initiatives will significantly improve the accuracy of data used in shaping development policies.
