Strengthening Bilateral Relations: Yemen and Kuwait Discuss Cooperation

On Thursday, Dr. Mansour Bajash, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, met with Falah Al-Hajraf, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Yemen, in Riyadh. The two officials explored ways to enhance the distinguished bilateral relations between Yemen and Kuwait across various sectors. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Appreciation for Kuwait’s Support

Dr. Bajash expressed gratitude on behalf of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni people for Kuwait’s steadfast support towards Yemen. He praised Kuwait’s developmental and humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of Yemenis. This support reflects the deep historical and cultural ties between the two nations.

Commitment to Continued Cooperation

In response, Ambassador Al-Hajraf reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government. He emphasized Kuwait’s eagerness to strengthen cooperation and provide additional developmental and humanitarian assistance. This support aims to meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, stability, and reconstruction.

The discussions highlight the ongoing partnership between Yemen and Kuwait, underscoring their mutual commitment to fostering peace and development in the region.
