State Officials Highlight Youth Empowerment

Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, Abdullah Balghaith, and Marib’s Deputy Governor, Dr. Abd Rabbo Miftah, emphasized the state’s commitment to youth empowerment. In the presence of Raima Governor, Major General Mohammed Al-Hoori, they highlighted the crucial role of young people in building the nation and defending its national achievements. They pointed out the importance of youth in creating fundamental changes to pull Yemen out of the tragic situation caused by the Houthi militia’s coup against the legitimate state.

Balghaith and Miftah praised the significant sacrifices made by the youth in the national battle waged by our people against the Houthi insurgents, supported by the Iranian regime, over the past decade. They stressed the continued commitment of the youth to struggle until achieving all national goals, including ending the Houthi coup and restoring the Yemeni state.

Aiming for Youth Inclusion in Politics and Development

Adviser to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dawood Alowa, and Deputy General Coordinator of the Conference, Az Al-Din Al-Amri, explained that the National Youth Conference aims to build and enhance the leadership skills of young people in negotiation, dialogue, advocacy, and to activate their participation in political life and decision-making. They aim to achieve sustainable development and peace in Yemen. This meeting is part of several introductory sessions and youth forums to be held in Marib in the coming days. These events are designed to discuss youth issues and develop a national vision that enhances their participation in achieving development, peace, and enabling them to play an active role in shaping their future.

The initiative reflects a significant step towards engaging youth in the political and developmental process, aiming to leverage their potential in driving Yemen towards a brighter future.
