Strengthening Counter-Terrorism Efforts in Yemen: A Collaborative Approach

In a significant meeting aimed at bolstering bilateral cooperation in the fight against terrorism, Yemen’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah Al-Saadi, engaged in discussions with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Counter-Terrorism, Vladimir Voronkov. The focus of their dialogue was on enhancing and developing cooperation in counter-terrorism efforts and law enforcement, as well as boosting Yemen’s capabilities to combat this challenging issue.

Ambassador Al-Saadi emphasized the importance of providing support to Yemen, highlighting the need to enhance the implementation of national strategies, capacity building, and the strengthening of legal and institutional frameworks.
