On Monday, Yemen’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Salem Balfaqih, met with Indonesia’s Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasruddin Umar. The two officials explored ways to enhance bilateral relations and activate joint committees between their countries.
During their discussions, Balfaqih and Umar focused on establishing a framework for sending Indonesian students to study in Yemen. This initiative aims to ensure high-quality educational outcomes that benefit both Indonesia and the broader Islamic community.
Ambassador Balfaqih also addressed the ongoing developments in Yemen, expressing gratitude for the Indonesian government’s supportive stance towards Yemen. This acknowledgment underscores the importance of international solidarity in addressing Yemen’s challenges.
