The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed strong condemnation of recent statements made by two Israeli ministers regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. The ministry characterized these remarks as a blatant violation of international law and a direct assault on the rights of the Palestinian people.
The Republic of Yemen firmly rejects any attempts to displace the Palestinian population or to impose new demographic or geographic realities in the occupied Palestinian territories. The Yemeni government has called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities. They must address these dangerous calls that threaten regional and international security and stability.
The ministry emphasized that the Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the occupied Palestinian territories. It underscored the importance of maintaining the unity of Palestinian lands, including both Gaza and the West Bank, as well as East Jerusalem.
Yemen reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination. The government advocates for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
This statement reflects Yemen’s commitment to the Palestinian struggle and its call for international action to protect the rights of Palestinians amidst ongoing tensions in the region.
