The meeting, led by Yemenia’s Deputy General Manager for Commercial Affairs, Mohsen Haidara, included the President of the Yemeni Tourism Federation, Basel Hazem, and several representatives from travel agencies. The primary focus was to enhance collaboration between the airline and travel agencies while addressing any operational challenges. Participants also discussed the need for strict measures against any violations of existing regulations.
Haidara emphasized Yemenia Airlines’ recognition of the vital role travel agencies play in the air transport sector. He called for a united effort to provide the best services to travelers and promote tourism in the country, despite ongoing challenges. The airline is committed to supporting travel agencies in developing and modernizing their services to alleviate the difficulties faced by passengers.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the operational landscape amid current difficulties and the increasing pressure on flight schedules. Haidara highlighted the airline’s contributions to assisting patients by offering services at minimal fees. He assured attendees that the airline’s leadership, represented by Chairman Captain Nasser Mahmoud, remains dedicated to teamwork and enhancing efforts to fulfill their responsibilities.
